Mission Statement
At Miss Adams House, our mission is to provide a warm, welcoming “home away from home” for children ages 2 through 5 in a multi-age group setting. We believe every child deserves a healthy, happy environment where learning and play go hand in hand. Our developmentally appropriate approach is "rooted in structure and powered by play", offering daily activities designed to meet the unique needs of each child while fostering cooperation, creativity, and a love of learning. We place a strong emphasis on social-emotional growth and positive behavior support, helping children build self-confidence, manage emotions, and develop the skills needed to form healthy relationships.

Philosophy
We believe children learn best in an environment that feels like family—safe, nurturing, and filled with opportunities to grow at their own pace. We value the uniqueness of each child and strive to create a balance between structure and play, where curiosity is encouraged, and independence is celebrated. Our multi-age setting allows children to learn from one another, building a sense of community and belonging.
We place special focus on supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and academically. Through developmentally appropriate activities, positive guidance, and intentional teaching, we help children build self-confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills needed to thrive both in school and in life.
