🌟 About Me — My Experience in Early Childhood Education 🌟

I bring over 7 years of experience working in accredited Early Childhood Education (ECE) learning centers, including programs recognized by Texas School Ready.

I have spent 7 years working exclusively with children who have special needs, supporting them from early childhood through 5th grade with patience, understanding, and specialized strategies to help them grow and succeed.

I also served 3 years as a high school ECE mentor and lead teacher, guiding future educators while leading a mixed-age classroom of children ages 2–5.

"Rooted in structure, powered by play"

I’m proud to introduce myself as the founder of Miss Adams House Childcare, a place created with love, intention, and community at its heart. I was born and raised in Texas, and I pride myself on bringing true southern hospitality into everything I do—quality care, structure, warmth, and deep respect for every child and family I serve.

After years of working in public daycare settings, I saw a growing need: smaller classroom sizes. I watched how overcrowded rooms limited children’s ability to get meaningful one-on-one interactions, and how that often led to rising unwanted behaviors and missed opportunities to truly connect. I knew our babies needed more. They deserve a place where they feel seen, heard, guided, and valued—not just dropped off.

That vision inspired me to create a center where children could experience:

✨ More individualized attention

✨ Stronger social foundations

✨ A calmer, safer environment

✨ Intentional teaching mixed with joyful exploration

As a teacher,  I bring real-life experience, compassion, and joy into every lesson and interaction. My teaching style is firm yet nurturing—I am a child at heart, and I believe in loving hard, teaching hard, and setting expectations that help children grow confidently and respectfully. Respect is the foundation of everything we do, because without it, we cannot thrive—either individually or as a community.

I am deeply inspired by both Maria Montessori and the Reggio Emilia approach. I love the structure, independence, and order that Montessori brings, and I equally value the creative, realistic, child-led exploration of Reggio. By merging the two, I strive to create a learning environment where children experience the freedom to explore, paired with the structure they need to succeed.

At Miss Adams House, I’m not just creating a childcare center—

I’m creating a home for learning, a safe space for growth, and a place where childhood memories are made.

I am here to build community, support families, and give children a space where they can truly shine.

Let’s grow, learn, and build something beautiful together.
